SEO Toolbars

An SEO Toolbar can be a great way to save time and money when doing search engine optmization. Most of the tool bars I have listed here require Mozilla Firefox, but they are worth the switch from Internet Explorer.

Free SEO Toolbars

SEO Toolbars for Mozilla Firefox

Free SEO Toolbar from SEOBook – My favorite free SEO Toolbar! (Availability: Mozilla Firefox)
Free SEO Toolbar from SEOmoz – Very Limited free features Toolbar with most features available to Pro Members only. (Availability: Mozilla Firefox)
Free SEM Toolbar from Bruce Clay – Almost a full-featured free SEO toolbar. Seems only a few features require paid membership. (Availability: Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer)

SEO Toolbars for Internet Explorer

Free SEM Toolbar from Bruce Clay – Almost a full-featured free SEO toolbar. Seems only a few features require paid membership. (Availability: Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer)

Just be sure to read their privacy policies closely. Tool bars such as the SEOmoz Mozbar apparently track and report the sites you visit, and can associate that information with your username for any site you’ve visited over the last 30 days, i.e., they track you. Aaron Wall’s SEO Toolbar from SEOBook apparently doesn’t report or track any personal data, and I’m not sure about the Bruce Clay’s SEMToolBar. Their privacy policies can change from time to time, so don’t take my word for it, be sure to do additional research if you are concerned.
