Meta-Tag Generator Tool

Easily generate HTML meta-tags for your website and individual webpage’s using this free meta-tag generator tool. Simply enter a Title for the Internet page you want to create metatags for, a Description, relevant Keywords, the Author, Owner, and Copyright information. Then hit submit to have this online tool generate some of the most common meta-tags to put in the source code of your site and each of your respective web pages.

Although you don’t have to include any of these metatags on your pages, the ones I recommend you use for sure are the Title and Description meta-tags. By including your targeted keywords in the Title and Description metatags you have the best chance at ranking high in the search engines for those particular keywords. I typically recommend using up to 70 characters for the Title tag, and up to 256 characters for the description meta tag. The other ones aren’t nearly as important for search engine optimization or necessary for top rankings in the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo! and Bing. The Title tag is the most heavily weighted metatag when trying to rank in the search results, and a well-written meta-description is important for maximum click-through rates.
