Have Any Questions About Search Engine Optimization?

blue question markIn case you don’t already know; I started this site almost two years ago as a test blogging platform for myself and a place to share some of what I’ve learned along the way. I never had a real business plan or wrote down any particular long-term goals for it. I’ve just been adding content and tools as I think about them and have time.

But, ever since I released the free downloadable SEO book a few months ago, the subscriber count here has gone through the roof, that is, for a blog that only publishes a few posts each month and isn’t involved in hardly any other promotional methods. So, with so many new people now subscribing every day, I feel like I owe it to you to try and cover more of the topics that you’re most interested in and less of the random stuff that’s on my mind.

With that said, what type of information would be the most helpful for you? Is there anything in particular you would like me to write about? More SEO news, tutorials, videos, product reviews, or any tools you’d like to see here? Any particular technique you would like me to cover? Please be as specific or as general as you like. Just let me know of anything that would help you.

If you’re uncomfortable asking your question in the comments below, go ahead and send me your question or comment privately using this contact form.

Please don’t be shy…. I’m really looking forward to hearing how I can improve this website and blog to better help you!

(P.S. I’m working on a new service for this website and expect to launch the beta version within the next few months. So stay tuned because all of our Aweber email subscribers will be the first to learn about it and receive a major discount for helping us test it out. To be one of the first to get notified all you need to do is download my free SEO ebook PDF. If you’ve already done that then you don’t need to do anything else because you’re already on the list!)

What is the real truth about linkwheels? Are they a great SEO strategy, are they whitehat, grey, black? I have read so many mixed reviews about linkwheels. However, I have yet to find any info directly from Google about linkwheels, have you?

    Thanks and God bless.

@Sinda – Okay, although I’ve already covered most of sure things, I’ll see what other ones I’d feel comfortable recommending.

@Randy – Great question! I’ve been meaning to write about link wheels for awhile now. I don’t know that I would call them a great strategy, but they can help. I also wouldn’t generalize them as gray, white or black hat; because most of us have link wheels set up and don’t even realize it. It’s probably safe to assume most companies have either a Linkedin, Youtube or Facebook profile that points back to their main website, right? And they likely have several other website or profiles pointing to those accounts. By my definition that is a link wheel, and I personally don’t see anything wrong with it.

Just like most SEO techniques, though; if you feel you need to hide who you are then you’re probably walking a thin line between white hat and black hat. But, that’s just my general rule of thumb, and everyone’s definition of white hat, gray hat and black hat are slightly different.

Thanks for the great question! I hope that helps. I’m definitely going to put together an in-depth blog post discussing link wheels this month.
